Activating The Toast Integration With Bizimply
To install the integration in Bizimply customers will need to have access to their GUIDs. These code are generated by Toast.
In Toast
NB: Please check the Requirements tab, as customers need to have the Restaurant Manager in Toast.
Login to Toast
Click the Integrations option on the left side of the screen
Find the Bizimply icon
Click Add Now
Select and confirm the locations you want to integrate.
You will now have access to the GUIDs for these locations.
In Bizimply
NB: This process requires Bizimply Admin Access
Log in to Bizimply
Click your username on the top right and click on App Centre
Click on the Integration menu on the left hand side
Look for the Toast to Bizimply integration under Sales
Click Request
A member of the CS team will contact as soon as possible to confirm and activate the integration
The integration is active when the settings icon, a gear, appears in the Toast App on the integrations screen and the integration can now be turned on or off
Setting Up Your Toast Integration
Once the Toast account is authenticated, by following the steps above, it will redirect automatically to the Toast app Settings page:
Your Bizimply locations will be listed on the left side. Each Bizimply location needs to be paired with a Toast Restaurant GUID.
Paste each Restaurant GUID to the correct location. The page will save automatically.
NB: The relevant GUID codes will be provided by Toast.
If you would like to import previous sales, we can currently import up to 14 days before the Toast integration was installed. To do this, push the blue recall button.
How The Toast Integration Affects Shift Log
Now that your sales are being automatically added to Bizimply, they will be reflected in the Shift Log. On the “today” page you will see daily sales as imported from Toast at the close of business day.
Input fields will be blocked from manual editing and a tooltip has been added to communicate the sales are being added by Toast.
