How are changes are recorded on the audit log

Changes will be recorded any time a user changes any of the editable fields in the Tronc page, hours & Tronc Points for example. Changes within the Edit Tronc Pot popup will also be recorded.

What is the Tronc Audit Log

The Tronc Audit Log is a report which details every change made to employees' Tronc records. It logs the before and after of what changed, the time at which this change took place and who made the change.

Please note: Only Account Administrators have access to export the Tronc Audit Log. The information is only available to report on for 1 year after the change occurred.

How to export the Tronc Audit Log

  1. Sign into bizimply.com as an Account Admin

  2. Click into the Reports tab from navigation bar

  3. Click the 'Account Activity' from the list on the left and select 'Tronc Audit Log' from the drop down menu

  4. Select relevant date range, relevant locations and relevant employees

  5. Click the blue 'Export' button at the top right of the screen

  6. The report will be created and available to download by clicking the download button under ‘Actions’ in the ‘Recently Generated’ section

What information is contained within the Tronc Audit Log

  • Bizimply Employee ID

  • Employee Number

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Main Location

  • Location Worked

  • Main Position

  • Position Worked

  • Tronc Period Start Date

  • Tronc Period End Date

  • Detail

  • Changed From (what the attribute was changed from)

  • Changed To (what the attribute was changed to)

  • Timestamp

  • Changed By
