Revenue Centre on MyZimply

How to add Sales to the Revenue Centre through the MyZimply App and view progress throughout the day

Updated this week

It's possible to add Sales into Bizimply now through the Shiftlog in the MyZimply App.

To be able to do this you must have the correct permissions to add Sales to Revenue Centre.

How to Add Sales through MyZimply

  1. Login to the MyZimply App

  2. Go to the Manager Portal (note: if you're an Admin you do not have an Employee Portal on the MyZimply app so should see the Shift Log option straight away)

  3. Click on Shift Log

  4. Choose a Location from the top selection if you have multiple locations available to view

  5. Click on "Add Sales" on the date you wish to enter sales for

  6. If you have one Revenue Stream for hourly sales: you will see the option to click on the name of the Revenue Stream (in the below case it's called "Sales") and you will be given the option to add sales for each hour

  7. Click into the boxes provided and type in the amount for each hour. A running total will start as time progresses through the day:

  8. Continue until all the hourly amounts are entered in.

If you have multiple Revenue Streams in a location, you will have to select each one individually in order to add your Sales. In the below example, the Drink stream is selected for entering hourly sales:

If you don't want to enter in hourly sales manually, you can put have your Settings at "Daily" to just enter sales at the end of the day. This will look like below:

Tracking Revenue Progress Throughout the Day

If you have your settings in Revenue centre set to Hourly or 15 minute increments, and sales are being entered either through a POS integration, or manually each hour, you can track your progress of Sales live in the MyZimply app.

  1. Login to the MyZimply App

  2. Go to the Manager Portal (note: if you're an Admin you do not have an Employee Portal on the MyZimply app so should see the Shift Log option straight away)

  3. Click on Shift Log

  4. Click on the option for the day you wish to view - don't click the "Add Sales" button, but rather the box around it

  5. You will be taken into the Shift Log for the day. If you scroll down you should be presented with a graphy showing the current sales data for the day, both as an hourly total (black line) and as a growing increment (blue line).

This live data can help managers to check their progress on the go, and make staffing or retail decisions as the day progresses.

  6. To view separate streams rather than the total of all Revenue Streams, click "View Breakdown" and then toggle between which options you would like to view.
