What is the Revenue Centre?

What is the Revenue Centre and why should you use it?

Updated over 2 months ago

The Revenue Centre is your new hub for tracking, entering, and analysing sales across locations. It replaces Shift Log sales entry with a more flexible, accurate system — designed to give you better visibility into performance and to help you align Sales and Labour in Real Time.

What You Can Do with Revenue Centre

  • Track multiple revenue streams - Create and manage streams like Food, Drink, Retail, or Donations. Sales can then be attributed to the right location and schedule, making your reporting more accurate

  • View sales in different ways - See sales by 15-minute, hourly, or daily breakdowns. Switch between timeframes to spot peak trading hours, compare days, or track longer-term trends.

  • Connect your POS system - Automatically pull live sales data every 15 minutes from supported POS integrations. No integration? You can still add sales manually or import via CSV.

  • Use on desktop or mobile - Enter and view sales directly in MyZimply — whether you’re at your desk or on the go. Mobile views also let you track today’s sales against forecast, so you can make quick staffing decisions.

  • Align labour and sales - Because sales are linked to schedules and locations, you’ll always have an up-to-date view of labour % vs sales, helping you control costs and improve shift efficiency.

Why Should you use Revenue Centre Now?

If you use the Shift Log for recording sales, it makes sense to switch to using Revenue Centre instead for the following reasons:

  • You can expand the amount of sales you enter per day - break down sales to smaller increments in time like hours or 15 mins. You can still use import files if you want to.

  • Prepare your account for the coming exciting updates in Bizimply - soon we'll be tracking labour hours against those hourly sales, making it easier to dig into your labour sales % on a daily basis

  • You won't lose any data - your previous history of sales from the Shift Log will transfer automatically.

  • You can closer align you labour sales% to your Schedules on the Dashboard

  • Easier to enter in Sales from previous days and weeks - there are less clicks, and the fields work like a spreadsheet, saving as you go

  • Use Custom Date fields to help sort data to see Total Revenue and Average Revenue per day over days, weeks, months and longer

  • When you have Hourly View of your sales selected, you can Pin columns to compare specific days with ease within the product
