What are Daily Timecards?

Daily Timecards give you a day-by-day view of all employees’ time records for a specific location.

Instead of reviewing and approving timecards at the end of the week, you can see each employee’s scheduled times, actual clock-ins/outs, breaks, paid hours, and status for a single day.

This lets you:

  • Catch late/early punches, no-shows and anomalies immediately.

  • Make corrections while details are still fresh.

  • Approve and lock labour costs daily rather than weekly.

Daily Timecards work alongside Weekly Timecards, so anything approved or edited daily reflects in the weekly view automatically.

Accessing the Daily Timecards View

  1. Select a location, and go to Timecards in the main navigation.

  2. Within the weekly view of the Timecards page, in the top-left corner, click the “Daily Times” tab.

  3. The Daily Timecards view opens, showing all employee records for the selected day.

  4. Use the date picker at the top to change the day you’re viewing. By default, today’s date is selected.

Tip: You can set the Daily view as your default landing page. This can be done by checking the “Default as this view” checkbox. This will save your preference for next time

Understanding the Daily Timecards Table

Each row represents one employee’s timecard for a single day. Columns include:

  • Date: the date of the employee’s paid time

  • Employee Name: The First Name and Last Name of the employee. Shared employees show a “Shared” badge.

  • Scheduled In/Out: This shows the scheduled times for that employee’s shift

  • Actual In/Out: This shows the actual times the employee has clocked in and out of their shift

  • Paid In/Out: These are the times the employee will be paid

  • Schedule: The schedule that the employee worked on

  • Position: The Position that the employee worked for this shift

  • Extras: Any additional pay to be added

  • Total Paid Hours: Auto-calculated based on the selected times

  • Remove Button: This button will remove the paid time entry

  • Approve: This button Approves the timecard for that day

Navigation Tips

  • Infinite scroll is enabled for large sets of records, just keep scrolling to load more.

  • Use the date picker to jump between days.

  • You can sort and filter the records you view, see more here:
