Daily Timecards on MyZimply

Accessing the Daily Timecards List Page

  1. Open the MyZimply app.

  2. Tap the More option in the bottom navigation bar.

  3. Tap Daily Times.

  4. You’ll be taken to the Daily Timecards view for today’s date.

By default, the Pending filter is active so you immediately see records waiting for review.

Understanding the Daily Timecards List Page

Each row in the list represents one employee’s timecard for a single day. On mobile you’ll see at a glance:

  • Employee name (Name + Surname; “Shared” badge if applicable)

  • The Position and Schedule of the shift

  • Scheduled vs Actual times

  • Paid time

  • Status tag (Pending = Yellow, Approved = Green)

You can swipe vertically to scroll through all employees for that day.

Filters and Navigation on Mobile

  • Use the filter bar at the top to toggle between Pending and Approved records.

  • Tap the date selector to switch days. By default “Today” is selected.

  • Use the Location picker in the header to change locations (if you manage multiple sites).

Advanced filters can be applied to your timecards list by tapping the Filters in the bottom right corner.

Advanced Filters include:

  • All: Displays all Timecards within your date range

  • Pending: The Timecards that are not yet approved

  • Approved: The Timecards that have been approved

  • Early Clock In: Highlights shifts where an employee has clocked in before their scheduled time

  • Late Clock Out: Highlights shifts where an employee has clocked out after their scheduled time

  • Not Scheduled: Highlights timecards timecards where the employee was not scheduled to work

  • No Show: Highlights scheduled times where the employee never clocked in for the shift

  • With Notes: Highlights timecards that have had notes added to them. Often these notes are used to highlight important information

  • Within this view you can also filter your timecards list by:

    • Schedule dropdown (multi-select): Choose one or more schedules to display only those records.

    • Position dropdown (multi-select): Filter by employee position(s).

    • Date range selector: Choose a preset or set a custom range

    • Employee Name: Just type in the name of an employee to see only their Timecards

Once you’ve selected your filters, tap on the “Apply” button.

In order to reset your filters, tap the blue filters button, signified by the filter icon, and tap “Reset”. This will reset your filters and display the default daily timecards list.
