How to adjust hours on a Timecard
You may need to adjust Timecards manually to ensure some employees are paid correctly, even if the attendance records are correct e.g. if someone would prefer to receive Bank Holiday pay as Time in Lieu, you would need to remove hours from their Timecard before it goes to payroll. Here is how to add or subtract hours from the Timecard without touching the schedule or attendance. It is important to note that these actions must be completed within the time frame set by your company’s settings and permissions. Additionally, timecards can be unapproved, adjusted, and reapproved within the allowed approval period. This ensures that any necessary corrections can be made to maintain accurate records.

10. The hours will be added or subtracted from the total at the bottom of the Timecard summary
Please note: making an adjustment can also be locked behind permission for employee Roles if you wish to restrict who can take this action. To review or update these settings, navigate to Account Access → Roles → Role Types → Timecards. This section allows you to manage the permissions required for timecard adjustments.
Limitations of Bulk Actions
Currently, Bizimply does not support bulk approval or unapproval of timecards. Each timecard must be processed individually to ensure accuracy and maintain transparency in employee attendance records. This limitation applies to all timecards, including those for employees who worked on specific days, such as public holidays. While this may require additional effort, it helps to ensure that all adjustments are made with precision and accountability.
