Why can't you add time for an employee?

When you're tying to build a schedule, you may see a lock symbol like the one above appear in a day field while trying to add shifts for an employee. This is because the employee has an approved timecard for that date. Once the timecard is unapproved, you should be able to add shifts as normal.
