How to Schedule Employee's with multiple Positions

In this article you will learn to: 

  • Set your schedule to be colour coded by positions

  • Schedule an employee with multiple positions

Note: This can only be done by an account admin

Setting your schedule to be colour coded by positions

  1. Go to your schedule

  2. Select the orange pencil button on the Popular Shifts box

  3. Select 'By Position' for 'How would you like to colour code your shifts?' 

OR

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select 'Scheduling'

  3. Select Popular Shifts

  4. Select 'By Position' for 'How would you like to colour code your shifts?' 

How to schedule an employee with multiple positions

  1. Go to schedule 

  2. Pull shift onto employee you want to schedule

  3. The shift that will appear, will be for their main position, to change this, click into the shift

  4. In the pop-up, the first question is 'The employee's position for this shift is', select the drop-down at the end of this

  5. Select the position you want this shift to appear as

  6. Press 'Save'
