In this article you will learn:

  • How to mark days as a Bank Holiday

Note: You should only mark Public Holidays on your schedule if these are paid at a premium rate

  1. Go to Schedule

  2. Click on the date you require to mark as a Bank Holiday on the schedule

  3. A dialogue box will appear on the schedule with the day on it

  4. Check the box labelled 'Mark as Public Holiday on schedule and timecards', which will be ticked and turn blue 

  5. The day label on the schedule will now go from grey to include diagonal grey stripes

  6. Hours worked on this day will now be calculated at the Public Holiday rate which can be assigned in the Payroll Section of an employee's profile

  7. If no pay rate has been assigned for Public Holidays then the hourly rate will be applied
