Group Role Access to Forecasts

Learn how Group Roles access Forecasts on Bizimply. Decide if Group Roles should be able to access the Forecast Settings, or just the Forecast data.

What is Group Role access to Forecasts

A user assigned a group role can access the weekly forecasts for their locations. They can import forecasted sales, labour sales % and hours if they have been granted access by the Account Admin to do so. They can also access Forecast Settings if given the correct permissions.

How to give your Group Roles access to Forecasts tab

  1. Sign into Bizimply.com as an Account Admin

  2. Select 'Account Access' from the drop down menu

  3. From the three options on the lefthand side, select 'Group Roles'

  4. Select relevant Group Role you wish to give access to Forecasts

5. Scroll down to the 'Forecasts' section and switch the toggle to On

6. Click 'Choose Options'

7. Review the options and tick the checkbox of the permissions you wish for this group role to have

If you tick "Access General Settings", the Role will be able to go to the All Locations Forecast view, and access the General Settings for Forecasts

If you tick the "Access Sales & Labour Forecast Settings", the Role will be able to access all Settings except the General Settings.

8. Click save at the bottom of the screen

How Group Roles can access the Forecasts tab

  1. Sign into bizimply.com using your email address and password

  2. Select your Group Role portal. For example: South Area Region in image above

  3. Select your Location Group from the locations drop down at the top right of the screen

  4. Click into the 'Forecasts' tab from the navigation bar

  5. Here you will see the Weekly Forecast for each location you have been assigned to your in your group role. Use the location dropdown menu on the right hand side within the Forecasts tab to navigate between locations.

  6. If you have been assigned access to Forecast Imports, they will appear below the Weekly Forecast section on the left hand side
