How to Create a Custom Report
Click reports in the main navigation bar.
Click on ‘Custom Reports’ in the left menu to open the ‘Custom Reports Library’. Here, you can create new Custom Reports and find all previously created reports. NB: From this library, you can also download, edit, or delete any existing reports.
To create a Custom Report, click the ‘Create New’ button in the top right.
In the ‘Name’ field, enter a descriptive name for your Custom Report. Choose a name that will help you easily identify the report later.
Choose from the available reports in the ‘Report Type’ field.
Next, select the Data Points you want to include in the report by assigning each a column order number. Eg, entering ‘1’ in the Column Order field for the ‘Last Name’ data point will make it the first column in the report. Repeat this for each Data Point you'd like to include.
Optionally, you may give the column a Label. The column heading will be the value you enter into the Label field.
Once you are happy with your selections, hit the ‘Save’ button in the top right.
Your Custom Report will now be saved to the ‘Custom Reports Library’. Here you can also download, edit, or delete a previously created custom report.
Export a Custom Report on a Scheduled Basis
To schedule the export of a Custom Report, click ‘Schedule Custom Report Export’.
Select the Custom Report you want to schedule from the dropdown.
Name the Schedule.
Choose the destination you wish to send the report to.
Email: This will send the report to your email address.
SFTP: This will send the report to an SFTP Destination you have previously setup. To learn how to setup and SFTP Destination in Bizimply click here.
Frequency: this determines how often the report is sent.
Export Time: this determines the time the report will be sent.
NB: 03:00am is a good default time as it is outside most business hours.Once you are ready, click ‘Schedule’ in the top right to start the schedule of the custom report.
Your scheduled report will then appear in the ‘Scheduled Reports’ list.
