Advanced Employee Table Overview

The Advanced Employee Table gives you more control, flexibility, and visibility over your employee data. You can now filter, sort, search, customise, and export employee records based on your specific needs.

This article outlines the core functionality of the new table and how to use it effectively.


What’s New

  • 30+ data fields available, including location, role, visa/passport expiry, work hours, demographics, and more

  • Filtering and sorting available for all fields, based on their data type (e.g. text, number, date, boolean)

  • Customisable columns – choose which columns to display, change their order, and pin key columns for easier navigation

  • Exporting – export the current table view, including applied filters, visible columns, and field order

  • Role-based visibility – users only see fields they have permission to access (e.g. salary, gender, or other sensitive information)

  • Filters are remembered: when you return to the page, your most recent filters and sort settings are automatically re-applied


Existing Features Still Available

All previous features in the Employee Table are still supported, including:

  • Quick edit

  • Bulk actions

  • E-signature sending

  • Search

  • Click-through to employee profiles


Key Functionalities

Filtering

  • Filter by multiple fields at once

  • Filter types depend on the field (e.g. date range, text contains, etc.)

  • Filters can be cleared or reset at any time

Sorting

  • Click a column header to sort ascending or descending

  • Sorting works on all column types where applicable

Column Management

  • Show/hide columns from the table view

  • Drag and drop columns to reorder

  • Pin columns to the left or right to keep them visible while scrolling

Exporting Data

  • Export current table view to CSV

  • Export respects applied filters, column visibility, order, and row selection

Permissions

  • Field visibility is based on role and user permissions such as access to “Personal Details”, “Work Details”, “Payroll” and “Diversity fields”.

If you experience loading issues with the table, you should clear the cache and/or cookies on your web browser. This will help the table to load properly.
