The Different Versions of the Sales Vs Labour Dashboard
There are three permission levels for the Sales vs Labour Dashboard, all managed within the Insights section of Role permissions. Only one permission level can be active per user Role.
Version | Labour Hours | Labour Costs | Sales and Labour Sales % |
Labour Hours | Yes | No | No |
Labour Hours and Costs | Yes | Yes | No |
Sales vs Labour | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Labour Hours Dashboard
Users see labour hours only, with no cost or sales data. Suitable for roles that need visibility into staffing levels but should not access financial information.
Labour Hours and Costs Dashboard
Users see both labour hours and labour costs, including scheduled vs actual comparisons. Sales data and Labour Sales % are not shown.
Sales Vs Labour Dashboard
The full dashboard experience. Users see labour hours, labour costs, and sales data together, including Labour Sales % and target Labour Sales %. This version requires Revenue Centre to be enabled (see prerequisites below).
Prerequisites for Full Access to the Sales Vs Labour Dashboard
For labour hours and costs to show:
Timecard permissions must be enabled in the Role: Labour data is sourced from Timecard records.
For Sales data to show:
Revenue Centre must be enabled in the Role. All sales data comes from Revenue Centre, so users will not see sales figures or Labour Sales % unless their Role has Revenue Centre switched on, even if they have the Sales vs Labour permission.
Who can manage permissions?
Admins can configure Dashboard Permissions for each user Role in Account Access. Permissions apply across all Locations the Role has access to; users will only ever see data for Locations they have permission to view.
