How to run a Public Holidays Report and what information is shown

In this article, you will learn:

Please note: You must pull the report from the date of the public holiday.

How to Pull the Public Holidays Report

  1. Navigate to Reports > Attendance Reports > Public Holidays

  2. Select the date the bank holiday occurs

  3. Select the relevant location(s)

  4. Select the relevant employee(s)

  5. Click the blue 'Export' button

  6. The report will be emailed to the email address you are signed into Bizimply with

What information is shown on the Public holiday report

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Employee Number

  • Primary Location

  • Payroll Department

  • Salary/Hourly

  • Hours worked On Public Holiday - the number of hours worked on the day of the bank holiday

  • Hours worked the previous 5 weeks - the total number of hours worked over the previous 5 weeks counting back from the last day the employee worked in the closest proximity to the public holiday

  • More than 40 Hours worked previous 5 weeks - if the hours worked in the previous 5 weeks is more or less than 40

  • Same day worked as public holiday previous 13 weeks - the number of same days the employee has worked over the previous 13 weeks

  • Total Hours worked previous 13 weeks - the total number of approved hours over the previous 13 weeks

  • Avg Hours per working week - this is calculated based on the total number of days and hours worked over the previous 13 weeks

  • Avg Hours per working day - this is calculated based on the total number of days and hours worked over the previous 13 weeks

  • Hours Last Working Day - the number of hours for this column are the last worked hours prior to a public holiday (in their main location)

  • Fifth of last working week - the number of hours for this column are one fifth of the total hours worked in the last week prior to the Public Holiday

  • Fifth of average hours last 13 weeks - the number of hours for this column are one fifth of the average weekly hours worked in the past 13 weeks prior to the Public Holiday

Awarding Entitlements:

In Bizimply, you can either manually add this entitlement to the employee timecard or award them additional time off.

Account Administrators can import adjustments to the employee timecards in bulk for pay type 'Public Holiday Hours' in Timecards Settings > Import Bulk Adjustments. Click here for the help article to guide you through.
