Your export will look similar to the below screenshot:

In this report you can view:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Emp No (Employee Number)

  • Company Code

  • Main Location (the Main Location the employee works in)

  • Date (of shift)

  • Day (of shift)

  • Hourly Rate (for the shift that was worked)

  • Day Rate (If they are a salary employee)

  • Location (location employee worked in for that shift)

  • Position (position selected on timecard)

  • Schedule (scheduled assigned on timecard)

  • Payroll Department

  • Hourly/Salary

  • In (Clock in time, paid time off logged e.g. holiday, sick or salary shift)

  • Out (Clock out time)

  • Break

  • Hours (Total hours worked for shift)

Why should I use this report?

This report gives you a detailed shift by shift view of your costs. This shows you how your costs are calculated and allows you to filter through the data as needed.

Cost Analysis Template

We also have a template if you would like to further analyse your data (use filters, sort columns, check costs per position etc). Click on the excel icon below to download the template.

How to use Template:

Once you have exported your Cost Analysis Report - Copy and Paste the information into the template.

  1. Select the column header arrow for the column you want to filter

  2. Uncheck (Select All) and select the boxes you want to show. For example, you could select to only show a specific employee or location

  3. Click OK. The column header arrow changes to a Filter icon. Select this icon to change or clear the filter

Please note: When comparing the costs (using the template) to the labour costs on the dashboard, you must exclude Sick & Holiday time off from the report using steps 1-3 above to ensure these costs match up. This is because the labour costs on the dashboard do not include paid time off costs.

You can also sort any columns, for example, you may want to sort by date.

  1. Select the column header arrow for the column you want to sort

  2. Click Sort A to Z to perform an ascending sort (A to Z or smallest number to largest)

  3. Click Sort Z to A to perform a descending sort (Z to A or largest number to smallest)

Permission to Access Report
