Is the Remote Clock In Suitable for my Business?

This feature was designed by our team to create a safe work environment for your colleagues as they continue or return to work. Employees can easily clock in/out from their shifts through their employee profiles on their own devices.

For larger businesses, it will also speed up clock in/out times when employees start or finish shifts as it will reduce the need for long queues when arriving or leaving the location.

In this article you will learn how to:

  • How to turn on Remote Clocking 

  • Give employees access to Clock In Remotely, via their employee login

Note: You need to be an admin to give access to employees to clock in remotely

How to turn on Remote Clocking 

  1. Go to 'Settings' 

  2. On the left-hand side of the screen, select 'Attendance' and then click on 'Attendance Settings'

  3. Scroll down to 'Employee Portal Clock In'

  4. Select 'Yes' if you wish to turn this setting on for clock in/out and also a second setting for clocking in/out for breaks

  5. Press 'Save' 

How to give certain employees access to Clock In Remotely

  1. Go to Employees tab

  2. Go to an employee's profile

  3. Go to the 'Work' tab

  4. At the bottom, select 'Yes' to the question 'Web Portal clock in?'

  5. Press 'Save'

You can 'Bulk Edit' feature in Bizimply so that you can give this access to all of your employees at once if you want.
