Please note: Only Account Admins can create the custom timestation announcements. The 'Communications' app must be installed in the Workforce Management section of the app centre for this feature to work.

What is Timestation Announcement

The Timestation Announcement is a feature which allows Admins to create customised messages for their employees to see when they are clocking into work on the Timestation.

Important: Timestation Announcement is only available on Timestation App version 5.4.0 or newer. Please update your Timestation app by searching 'Timestation by Bizimply' in the Apple App Store and clicking 'Update'.

How to set up a Timestation Announcement

  1. Sign into bizimply.com as an Account Admin

  2. Click your name at top right of screen

  3. Select 'App Centre' from drop down menu

  4. Select 'Workforce Management' from the categories on the left hand side

  5. Install the 'Communications' app

  1. Once installed, click into the 'Communications' tab while viewing 'All Locations' in the location drop down on the right hand side

  2. Click into the 'Timestation Announcements' tab

  3. Select the blue 'Add Announcement' button

5. Select the announcement theme choosing between No theme, a Celebratory theme (confetti) or a Notification theme (alarm bells)

6. Enter in your custom announcement for your employees in the 'Timestation Announcement' textbox. Maximum is 120 characters.

7. Select which dates you would like the announcement to display for using the 'Display from' and 'Display to' date pickers. Important: Only one announcement can be set at a time for a particular date range.

8. Click the blue save button

How to edit Timestation Announcement

If you wish to edit the Timestation announcement, you can do so using the following steps.

  1. Follow steps 1-3 above

  2. Click into the announcement you wish to edit

  3. Click the orange 'Edit' button at the bottom of the screen

  4. Make any relevant changes to the theme, announcement message or date range

  5. Click the blue save button

How to Archive Timestation Announcement

  1. Follow steps 1-3 in the 'How to set up timestation announcement' section above

  2. Click the blue 'Archive' button on the announcement you wish to archive

  3. Click 'Yes' on the pop up asking if you wish to archive the announcement

  4. All archived announcements can be found within the 'Archive' tab
