How do I deactivate an employee:
Deactivating employee accounts in Bizimply allows you to manage your system's active user limit efficiently. When an employee is deactivated, their account becomes inactive, freeing up space for new employees without permanently deleting their data. This ensures that historical records remain intact while optimizing your account usage.
Go to your employee profile
Select the 'Deactivate' button on the right-hand side of their profile header
Fill out the reason & comment in the popover
Select their finish date in the popover. You can choose to put in a future date or past date and select to "Deactivate Immediately"
Press 'Save'
Please note: If you don't see this button this means that you don't have the correct permission to deactivate an employee. If so, please contact a manager or account admin.
Bulk Deactivation of Employees
Go to the Employees tab
Select the little box on the lefthand side of the employee you want to deactivate
Select the blue 'Actions' button
Select Deactivate Employee
Fill out the reason & comment in the popover
Select their finish date in the popover and/or choose to deactivate them immediately.
Press 'Save'
For admins managing multiple employee accounts, Bizimply offers a Bulk Employee Deactivation feature. This feature is accessible via the quick edit option and allows you to deactivate several employees at once. Bulk deactivation is particularly useful when you need to reduce the number of active employees on the system efficiently.
How do I reactivate an employee:
Go the Employees tab
Select the menu in the top left-hand corner
Select "Inactive Employees"
4. Select the employee you wish to reactivate
5. Select the 'Reactivate' button on the right-hand side of their profile header
Please note: when you Reactivate an employee on Bizimply you will need to go to the Work tab and Allow Access again to the Web Portal.
They will also need to be reinvited to Bizimply to create a password to login again to use the Employee Portal and the MyZimply app.
