Contracted Hours for your Employees

How to upload and amend contracted hours for your employees

  1. Under the 'Payroll' tab in your Employees section, you will a Payroll record that is currently in operation for your employees. And in here are their Contracted Hours. Insert the employee's contracted hours here and press 'Save'

    Alternatively, there is the ability to add a new pay-record for an employee, and update their contracted hours in bulk. You must be an Admin to action this.

1. Go to the top right corner, click on your name/email address, and select Settings

2. Select Employees

3. Select "Update Employee Profiles"

4. In the dropdown menu, select "Add Pay Records"

5. Click in the dialog box to the right, the button that says "Download Active Employee List"

6. You will receive and email which will contain a csv file.

7. Open the csv file, and fill out the details you will need to update the pay record. The Contracted Hours are updated in Column J:

You must have an Effective From date and Hourly Rate to update the rest of the information. If you are taking this action as a work around, you should set the Effective From date on this pay record as the next day after the existing pay record starts for an employee.

8. Once you have updated the csv file and saved it, return to the page you were in on Bizimply, and click "Choose File", and select the csv file you just updated.

9. Now clikc "Import". You will get a message when the records have been updated.

How to view contracted hours on the schedule

  1. Click the 'Total' dropdown on the top right of the schedule

  2. Select 'Versus Contracted Hours'

  3. The column will now change to reflect scheduled hours vs contracted hours for each employee on the schedule. This figure will include any hours from any shared locations where the employee is scheduled

How to view contracted hours on the timecards

  1. On the employee's timecard, you will now see 'All Timecard Hours' with an information symbol beside it

  2. Click on the information symbol to see hours that that employee has as selected 'Paid' time across all shared locations and how that compares to the employee's contracted hours

How to pull a report of contracted hours versus paid hours

  1. Select Reports > Complicance Reports > Contracted Hours

  2. Select the week starting

  3. Select the chosen locations

  4. Press Export

  5. Your exported report will show contracted hours versus paid hours (including shared locations) and the difference
