How to Edit an Attendance Record
Sometimes you may need to edit an employee's attendance record if there was a mistake made when clocking in or out. You can do this using the following steps:
Log into Bizimply
Select the relevant location
Click the Attendance icon
Find the relevant date you wish to make the edit on
Find the correct employee's clock in record
Select the time in the box you wish to edit and enter in the correct time
Click anywhere on the grey space to save
Please note: Attendance records which display the Lock icon on the right are locked and therefore cannot be edited. This means that the employee's timecard for that date has already been approved. To make an edit to this type of attendance, you must first un-approve the employee's timecard, make the relevant edit to the attendance and then reapprove the timecard once the update is complete.
Users who are able to make edits on the attendance are controlled by permissions - click here to find out more. Information on how to lock the attendance so it cannot be changed or edited can be found by clicking here.
