In this article you will learn:

  • How to Manually Clock Someone Out on Bizimply

  • How to Edit an Attendance Record

If an employee is clocked in for longer than 24 hours you will see a warning on the Attendance Widget on the Dashboard. You will then need to manually clock this employee out.

How to Manually Clock Someone Out on Bizimply

  1. Click on the red button that appears beside their name in the Attendance Widget

  2. This will bring you to the exact date in Attendance where they did not clock out

  3. Enter the time they left work into the space beside their name underneath 'Adjusted' and then click outside of the box.

4. The employee is now clocked out and their hours will update

Alternatively, you can clock an employee out by

  1. Login to Bizimply

  2. Select the location you wish to clock the employee out of

  3. Click the Attendance icon

  4. Find the date when the employee did not clock out

  5. Enter the time they left work into the space beside their name underneath 'Adjusted' and then click outside of the box.

  6. The employee is now clocked out and their hours will update

How to Edit an Attendance Record

Sometimes you may need to edit an employee's attendance record if there was a mistake made when clocking in or out. You can do this using the following steps:

  1. Log into Bizimply

  2. Select the relevant location

  3. Click the Attendance icon

  4. Find the relevant date you wish to make the edit on

  5. Find the correct employee's clock in record

  6. Select the time in the box you wish to edit and enter in the correct time

  7. Click anywhere on the grey space to save

Please note: Attendance records which display the Lock icon on the right are locked and therefore cannot be edited. This means that the employee's timecard for that date has already been approved. To make an edit to this type of attendance, you must first un-approve the employee's timecard, make the relevant edit to the attendance and then reapprove the timecard once the update is complete.

Users who are able to make edits on the attendance are controlled by permissions - click here to find out more. Information on how to lock the attendance so it cannot be changed or edited can be found by clicking here.
